Overview

The HKS HIPERMAX S 80330-AF020P is a full coilover suspension kit for the Subaru BRZ ZD8. Front pillow-ball upper mounts, adjustable ride height and 30-step damping adjustment provide a configurable suspension setup.

Features & Specifications

• 30-step front and rear damping adjustment; standard dial setting: 15.
• Height-adjustable lower brackets at both axles.
• Front: inverted dampers with spherical-bearing upper mounts.
• Rear: conventional dampers with rubber upper mounts and 19.8 N/mm helper springs.
• Spring rates: front 49 N/mm (5.0 kgf/mm); rear 59 N/mm (6.0 kgf/mm).
• Main spring free length: 170 mm front and rear.
• HKS recommended lowering: front 27 mm; rear 28 mm.
• Published adjustment range relative to stock: front 0 to -49 mm; rear 0 to -61 mm. Actual results depend on vehicle setup.

2022+ Subaru BRZ, ZD8 chassis, FA24 engine. HKS lists production from August 2021 onward; ride-height data is based on manual-transmission models.

Installation Notes

• For automatic-transmission vehicles, adjust to the test-setting dimensions specified on page 13 of the installation manual before fitting.
• Suspension changes may affect EyeSight operation. Refer to the factory service information.
• Check wheel, tyre, body and suspension clearance. Extreme lowering can affect road legality and warranty coverage.
