PLATE RELOCATION KIT
INSTALLATION GUIDE
Follow these seven steps to install and adjust your front license plate relocation kit using the factory tow hook mounting point.
TOOLS REQUIRED
- 17 mm wrench
- 19 mm wrench
- 22 mm wrench
- Appropriate tool for supplied mounting bolts
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
- Park securely and switch off the engine.
- Identify the factory front tow hook cover.
- Lay out the supplied rod, brackets, nuts and bolts.
- Check bumper clearance before final tightening.
STEP-BY-STEP INSTALLATION
Remove the Tow Hook Cover
Carefully remove the factory front tow hook cover to access the threaded mounting point.
Install the Mounting Rod
Thread the mounting rod into the factory tow hook mounting point. Tighten using a 17 mm wrench on the flats of the rod.
Use the indicated flats to tighten the rod.
Set the Mounting Depth
Thread the large black nut onto the mounting rod and adjust it to the desired depth, allowing suitable clearance from the bumper.
Position the nuts at your preferred mounting depth.
Lock the Adjustment Nuts
Once the desired depth is set, lock both nuts together using a 19 mm and 22 mm wrench.
Secure both nuts against one another.
Attach the Adjustable Mounting Bracket
Attach the mounting bracket using the recessed bolt. Adjust the bracket to achieve your desired license plate angle, then secure the bolt.
The curved bracket allows angle adjustment.
Install the License Plate Holder
Attach the license plate holder to the mounting bracket using the two larger bolts. Install the nuts at the rear for additional security.
Select the mounting slots that provide your preferred license plate position.
Attach Your License Plate
Use the provided smaller bolts to secure your license plate to the holder.
Completed mounting assembly.
