GARRETT POWERMAX MGT2260 TURBOCHARGER - 2015-2021 WRX / 2014-2018 FORESTER XT

The Garrett PowerMax MGT2260 is a complete turbocharger upgrade for the Subaru 2.0L FA20 direct-injection turbo engine. It retains the factory mounting arrangement and includes a calibrated actuator.

Features

• 18% greater compressor flow than the original turbocharger.
• Flow capacity supporting up to 480 BHP (353 kW); this is turbo capability measured through laboratory testing, not guaranteed vehicle output.
• Uses original mounting points, oil and coolant connections, and intake/exhaust interfaces without fabrication.
• Machined turbo-speed sensor port; monitoring accessories sold separately.

• 2015–2021 Subaru WRX 2.0L FA20 DIT (non-STI).
• 2014–2018 Subaru Forester 2.0XT (SJ), FA20 DIT.

For FA20F/FA20E engines originally equipped with Garrett MGT2259S/MGT2259LS turbochargers. Excludes STI, naturally aspirated Forester models, and FA20D-powered BRZ/FR-S/86. Garrett lists the global SJ Forester application as 2013–2018; North American model years begin in 2014.

Installation & Performance Notes

ECU calibration is necessary to realize the upgrade's performance potential. Results depend on supporting modifications and tuning. Garrett designates its performance kits for racing vehicles used off public roads.
