FactionFab Full Brake Kit Combo Front - 2008-2017 STI

This FactionFab full axle brake kit combines V2 pads and rotors with brake lines and titanium shims for the application below.

Features — Brake Pads

• Semi-metallic Stage 1 V2 pads for daily driving, autocross and light track use.
• Average friction coefficient 0.39µ; cold coefficient 0.44µ.
• Strong low-temperature response and predictable thermal behaviour.
• Textured steel shims support heat dissipation and grease retention.
• OE-spec backing plates, gas slots and chamfers help reduce vibration; laser-cut backing plates provide precise fit.

Features — Brake Rotors

• G11H18 high-carbon iron alloy supports heat dissipation and braking consistency.
• Precision F-design slots evacuate brake dust and gases.
• Full Geomet zinc coating inside and out resists corrosion.
• Double-disc ground for accurate thickness and surface finish; mill balanced for smooth operation.
• Bi-directional design fits either side of the stated axle.
• Threaded M8 removal holes simplify servicing; part number and minimum thickness are stamped on the rotor edge.
• Dual-drilled 5x100 / 5x114 applications are available where specified for the individual rotor.

Features — Brake Lines

• Stainless steel precision-machined fittings resist corrosion.
• PTFE inner liner, woven stainless steel support layer and protective clear outer coating.
• Abrasion- and impact-resistant construction with fitting stress relief.
• Each line is burst-pressure tested to 4500 psi.
• Model-specific design and included hardware replace expandable factory rubber lines for increased pedal feedback.

Features — Titanium Shims

• 6AL-4V / Grade 5 titanium with low thermal conductivity.
• 1.0 mm thickness forms a thermal barrier between pad backing plate and caliper piston.
• Helps reduce heat transfer into the caliper and fluid, supporting resistance to heat-related brake fade.
• Four shims per set. Competition eligibility depends on the official SCCA / NASA class rules.
