Overview

The Diode Dynamics SS3 Sport Type X kit upgrades the factory fog lights with a pair of 3-inch LED pods and vehicle-specific brackets. This yellow SAE Fog version uses TIR optics to control the beam and an independent amber accent backlight.

What's Included

Installation

The brackets replace compatible factory fog assemblies and the adapters connect to factory fog-light sockets. Connect the amber backlight tap to the desired vehicle lighting function. Allow approximately 30–60 minutes with basic tools; aim both lamps correctly and follow applicable local installation requirements. Covered by the manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty.

• 2011–2014 WRX and STI, sedan and hatchback.
• 2008–2009 Legacy: Limited Sedan, Limited Wagon, GT Limited Sedan and GT Limited Wagon, as listed by Diode Dynamics.

Replaces factory fog lamps using Type X mounts (OEM references 84501AG130 and 84501AG120). Vehicles without factory fog lights may require additional bezels, wiring and hardware. Legacy Spec B fitment is not confirmed. Not verified for non-turbo Impreza, 2008–2010 WRX/STI, other Legacy years or Outback.
