Diode Dynamics SS3 Dual-Color Type X LED Fog Light Kit - White and Yellow with Amber Backlight - 2011-2014 WRX, 2011-2014 STI, 2008-2009 Legacy

Overview

The Diode Dynamics SS3 Dual-Color Type X kit upgrades the factory fog lights with a pair of 3-inch LED pods and vehicle-specific brackets. This white and yellow SAE Fog version uses TIR optics to control the beam and an independent amber accent backlight.

Features

• FineLine fog optics with an 80° × 8° beam.
• Powder-coated cast-aluminum housing, polycarbonate lens and rubber gasket.
• Passive pin-fin cooling and Deutsch DT input connector.
• IP69K intrusion rating; tested for vibration, moisture and corrosion.
• Engineered and assembled in the USA using globally sourced materials.

SmartSelect switches between 6000K white and 3000K yellow using the factory fog switch. Cycle on/off three times, keeping each state between 0.5 and 5 seconds. Leave the desired color on for at least 5 seconds to save it; without a selection, the lamps return to white after two cycles. Dual-Color has one dedicated output level between Sport and Pro, with the same fog pattern in both colors.
