Verus Engineering Front Splitter Kit - 2011-2014 WRX/STI
OVERVIEW
The Verus Engineering Front Splitter is designed to increase front end downforce, aerodynamically work well with the Verus Engineering rear diffuser and rear wing, and reduce lap times on the track. With the optional air dam or in conjunction with the STI lip, the splitter is a well rounded and fully thought out unit that is a great component to add for a track day enthusiast.
Utilizing state-of-the-art analysis software during the R&D process, we were able to estimate the performance of the splitter on the car. We were able to properly design the diffuser and splitter to work well together.
During the design process; we utilized in-house scan data. This results in a product that features a near OEM fit and finish.
The front splitter was designed for owners looking to combat front end lift, increasing traction at high speeds.

Science:
The Verus Engineering Ventus 2 package decreases the lift of the GV Subaru significantly resulting in the vehicle producing downforce at speed. The components end up improving the aerodynamic efficiency of the vehicle as a result which generally results in significant decreases in lap times. The splitter creates a low-pressure zone in on the bottom side and high pressure on the top side which pushes the front of the vehicle down. This improves front-end downforce. The Ventus 2 kit is a nicely balanced aerodynamic package for the GV WRX.
