Verus Engineering Rear Diffuser - 2022+ WRX

OVERVIEW

The Verus Engineering Rear Diffuser combines function, form, and aerodynamic development to deliver excellent fitment, performance, and styling for the Subaru WRX (VB). The simple bolt-on design improves both the performance and appearance of the vehicle while requiring no permanent modifications.

Utilizing state-of-the-art Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis during the R&D process, Verus Engineering optimized the diffuser to reduce drag, decrease lift, and improve overall aerodynamic efficiency.

In-house 3D scan data was utilized throughout the design process, resulting in a product with near-OEM fit and finish.

The Rear Diffuser is designed for owners looking for both function and form. On track, aerodynamic improvements can contribute to increased straight-line and cornering speeds while helping reduce lap times.

SCIENCE

The Verus Engineering Rear Diffuser is designed to decrease overall lift while reducing aerodynamic drag, resulting in improved aerodynamic efficiency. The diffuser generates vortices that help keep airflow attached to the diffuser surface, further improving its performance.

The diffuser creates a low-pressure zone at the rear of the vehicle, while compatible front aerodynamic components such as dive planes can generate additional front downforce to help balance the vehicle's aerodynamic characteristics.

Together, these components form the Verus Engineering Ventus 1 aerodynamic package for the Subaru WRX (VB), designed to provide a balanced aerodynamic setup. For owners looking for greater levels of downforce, more aggressive Ventus 2 and Ventus 3 configurations are also available.
