Overview
Improve front-end downforce and aerodynamic balance with the Verus Engineering Dive Plane (Canard) Kit for the Subaru BRZ. Designed to generate additional front downforce without extending the front splitter further forward, these dive planes help shift aerodynamic balance toward the front of the vehicle, improving front-end grip and high-speed stability.
Developed using advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis, the dive planes are optimized to maximize aerodynamic performance within their available dimensions. They also help manage airflow along the sides of the vehicle and evacuate air from the front wheel wells, further improving aerodynamic efficiency.
Designed for enthusiasts looking to fine-tune their aerodynamic setup, these carbon fiber dive planes are particularly beneficial when balancing larger rear wings or aggressive rear diffusers. Installation can be completed using the included 3M VHB double-sided tape or stainless steel mounting hardware.

Aerodynamic Performance
Properly designed dive planes increase front-end grip and cornering performance by generating additional front downforce and reducing lift in other areas of the vehicle. Verus Engineering utilized ANSYS CFD software to optimize the dive plane geometry, extracting greater aerodynamic performance from the available mounting area.
These dive planes are part of the Verus Engineering Ventus 2 aerodynamic package for the Subaru BRZ. The Ventus 2 package is engineered to significantly increase downforce over the factory configuration while maintaining a balanced aerodynamic setup at speed.
Developed primarily for track-focused enthusiasts, the Ventus 2 components work together to improve high-speed handling, maximize available tire grip, and increase driver confidence. While optimized for track use, the package can also be utilized on street-driven vehicles.
