Overview
The PERRIN Tow Hook Upgrade Kit fits an existing compatible PERRIN license plate relocation stem, allowing the front plate assembly to be exchanged for a tow hook.
Vehicle Fitment & Application
- Requires an existing compatible PERRIN license plate relocation stem.
- Upgrade ring and hardware only; a vehicle-specific mounting stem is not included.
- Vehicle compatibility follows the installed PERRIN relocation stem. This is not a universal direct-fit vehicle kit.
Construction & Features
- CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum ring.
- Powder-coated finish for protection against the elements.
- Colour: Flat Black.
- Uses an existing PERRIN Plate Relocate stem; mounting stem is not included.
Compatibility
Accessory for compatible existing PERRIN Plate Relocate stems. This is not a complete vehicle-specific tow hook kit and does not fit directly into the vehicle without the required stem. Compatibility is determined by the installed PERRIN stem, not by model year alone.
Included Components
- One PERRIN tow ring.
- Black-oxide stainless steel 7/16-20 × 1.5-inch hex bolt and 7/16-inch flat washers.
- Adhesive donut.
- Anti-seize packet and installation documentation.
Installation & Use
Install onto the compatible PERRIN relocation stem using the supplied hardware.
Not for vehicle recovery. Intended for show use and controlled straight-line pulling only, such as loading onto a rollback. The vehicle and its contents must not exceed 4,000 lb. Use the factory recovery hook or an appropriate recovery method for recovery work. PERRIN disclaims responsibility for damage or injury from use.
