PERRIN 22MM ADJUSTABLE FRONT SWAY BAR - 2008-2014 WRX/STI, 2009-2013 FORESTER XT

Product Overview

The PERRIN 22 mm adjustable front sway bar replaces the original anti-roll bar on the applications below. It adds roll resistance to reduce body lean in corners and provides endlink mounting choices for tuning the vehicle’s handling balance. Supplied mounting bushings support the bar while allowing it to rotate through suspension movement.

Features

• Two endlink positions: Perrin lists 50% and 85% greater stiffness than the 20 mm original bar.
• Polyurethane mounting bushings provide a responsive connection at the mounting points.
• Red-finished bar with model-specific routing and endlink attachment points.
• Centering-collar installation is detailed in Perrin’s fitting instructions.

Installation Notes

Reuses the original bushing clamps and mounting hardware. Perrin specifies that the bar passes below the steering linkage. Use the supplied suspension grease rather than ordinary grease; follow the instructions for collar positioning and fastener torque.

Increasing front roll stiffness can increase understeer; become familiar with the new handling response after adjustment.

Support the vehicle securely and follow the part-specific Perrin installation instructions for the complete procedure and torque specifications.
