The Subaru Shifter Stop is something your car should have came with from the factory. A big issue with the design of the shifting mechanism on modern Subarus with cable shifted 6-speed manual transmissions is the slop in the cables that allows the shifter to move past the 1-2 gear gates. This can lead to a notchy shifting feel or in some cases, prevent the shifter from going into those gears at all!

The OVERTAKE Shifter Stop adds a mechanical limit to the side-to-side travel of the shifter, allowing you to perfectly tune it in for crisp and accurate shifts every time. Mimicking the factory reverse lockout, the main body is made from injection molded glass-filled nylon, offering excellent strength and durability while preventing any damage to your shifter like a metal version could. You will also notice a much more desired smooth feeling with shifting into it vs the metal versions from the competitors. Best of all, our kits include all of the necessary hardware for a quick and painless bolt-on installation.
