Overtake Phenolic Intake Manifold Thermal Spacer | Reduce Heat, Increase Power

Is your Subaru engine running at its full potential? One of the biggest obstacles to maximizing your engine's performance is heat soak – when heat from your engine transfers into your intake manifold, reducing air density and limiting power. The cooler the intake air, the more horsepower your engine can achieve. That's where the Overtake Phenolic Intake Manifold Thermal Spacer comes in, providing the perfect solution to this long-standing issue by raising the intake manifold off the superheated boxer engine.

What Are Phenolic Spacers?

Phenolic spacers are widely used in high-performance automotive applications, but this technology is a breakthrough for Subaru owners. By reducing the heat transfer between the engine and intake manifold, Overtake Phenolic Spacers help lower intake temperatures and increase power.

Key Benefits:

• Reduce Heat Soak: Minimizes heat transfer from the engine to the intake manifold, keeping intake temperatures lower for improved performance.
• Enhanced Power Output: For every 5-degree reduction in intake air temperature, your engine can gain up to 1% more power.
• Improved Air Density: Cooler intake air is denser, allowing for more air to mix with fuel, resulting in better fuel efficiency and power gains.
• High-Quality Phenolic Material: Unlike inferior alternatives made from cutting board materials, our true phenolic construction stands up to extreme heat without compromising performance.
• Direct Bolt-On Installation: A direct fit to your Subaru. For best results, we recommend using two sets of gaskets – one on each side of the spacer.
• Race Fuel Safe: Overtake Phenolic Spacers have been rigorously tested and proven safe for use with race fuel, E85, and methanol.

How Do Phenolic Spacers Work?

Your Subaru’s intake air travels from the airbox into the turbo and then into the intake manifold. As it passes through the manifold, it absorbs heat from the surrounding aluminum, which decreases air density and robs your engine of potential power. In stock form, a steel gasket sits between the intake manifold and engine, allowing heat to transfer into the manifold. Replacing the steel gasket with the Overtake Phenolic Spacer greatly reduces this heat transfer.

Upgrade your Subaru’s performance with the Overtake Phenolic Intake Manifold Thermal Spacer and experience cooler intake temperatures, better air density, and more power.
