One of the biggest issues that plagues Subaru enthusiasts is the lackluster feel of the factory brake system. The most-noticeable problem when it comes to driving spiritedly is the lack of feedback in the brake pedal, which can lead to unpredictable braking and lack of confidence on corner entry. The biggest cause of this is the firewall flexing and deforming under hard braking. This means that not all of the pressure from your foot hitting the pedal is actually squeezing the brakes, just moving the master cylinder back-and-forth in the engine bay.

The OVERTAKE Brake Master Cylinder Brace aims to help alleviate this issue by bracing the master cylinder itself to the strut tower, limiting the amount of movement by 65% and allowing for more a confident brake application you can feel right away. Our brace is machined from 6061 aluminum with a sleek bead-blasted black anodized finish. In addition to the brace itself, we include all new hardware for installation and a matching aluminum OVERTAKE blue master cylinder cap to protect your master cylinder AND add a pop of color to your engine bay.
