OVERTAKE Exhaust Manifold to Head Gasket Set - Subaru EG33 Engines

The OVERTAKE Exhaust Manifold to Head Gasket seals the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head on the EG33 Subaru SVX using multi-layer steel construction with a stainless steel fire ring. If you own an SVX, you already know the drill: Subaru no longer sells this gasket, and the budget aftermarket versions that filled the gap do not hold up.

The original OEM gasket sat in a hot, high-pressure spot and did its job, but Subaru discontinued it (14038AA010), and SVX parts are only getting harder to find. What is left on the shelf is mostly thin, stamped material that is not fully stainless, which is where the dreaded waffle-gasket blowout comes from. The OVERTAKE Exhaust Manifold to Head Gasket is built for the EG33 the way this joint should be sealed. Multi-layer steel, a stainless fire ring, and real thickness, made to keep a 1992-1997 SVX sealed up for the long haul.

Why Go OVERTAKE:

With the OEM part gone and SVX parts scarce, this is a gasket built right and kept in stock:

• Direct OEM replacement, no longer available new
• Full stainless multi-layer build
• No more waffle-gasket blowouts
• Survives real heat cycling and pressure
• Hard-to-find EG33 part, kept available

FEATURES:

• Multi-layer steel construction with a stainless steel fire ring at the combustion seal
• 22% thicker than the original OEM gasket for a more durable, longer-lasting seal
• Fully stainless build where many aftermarket gaskets use thinner, non-stainless
• material and fail early
• Engineered specifically for the EG33 exhaust system for a reliable, leak-free fit
• Built to hold up to the abuse of a tuned car
• Direct replacement for the discontinued OEM Subaru gasket 14038AA010

THE DETAILS:

The exhaust manifold gasket on the EG33 SVX sits in one of the hottest, highest-pressure spots on the engine, and it is exactly the kind of part that gets harder to source every year. Subaru no longer supplies the original, and the aftermarket options that stepped in are mostly thin, stamped gaskets that are not fully stainless, which is where the waffle-gasket blowout comes from. The OVERTAKE gasket is built the way this joint should be sealed, with multiple layers of steel and a stainless steel fire ring around the port, running 22% thicker than the original so it holds clamping load and takes real exhaust pressure. Because it is engineered for the EG33, it drops in as a direct replacement for the discontinued OEM part 14038AA010 with no modification. It also carries over to EG33 swap builds, where sourcing a gasket at all can be the hard part. Install is a straight OEM-style replacement, and once it is on you are done chasing the leak.
