Your driveshaft is only as stable as the bushings holding it in place. And factory rubber wasn't built to last.
The OEM driveshaft carrier bushings are made from soft rubber that compresses, wears, and eventually breaks down. As they deteriorate, the driveshaft loses alignment between its front and rear sections, causing vibration, drivetrain lash, and unnecessary wear on universal joints. The OVERTAKE Driveshaft Carrier Bushings replaces those weak points with stainless steel bushings that hold everything firmly in position.
What You'll Feel:
- Smoother acceleration with reduced drivetrain lash
- More direct throttle response under load
- Less vibration as driveshaft alignment improves
- Tighter, more connected feel through the entire drivetrain
Features:
- CNC Machined Stainless Steel
- Direct replacement for worn OEM rubber bushings
- Corrects factory driveshaft misalignment
- Reduces wear on driveshaft universal joints
- Minimal to no added NVH
The Details: The driveshaft carrier bearing sits at the center of your driveshaft, supporting and aligning the front and rear sections. Factory rubber bushings mount this carrier to the chassis, but they were designed for cost and comfort, not longevity or precision. Over time, they compress and deteriorate, allowing the carrier to shift and creating misalignment between driveshaft sections. This puts stress on your universal joints and introduces slop into the drivetrain. The OVERTAKE Driveshaft Carrier Bushing Kit replaces those rubber bushings with stainless steel that maintains proper alignment under all conditions. The result is a driveshaft that stays where it should, smoother power delivery, and less long-term wear on drivetrain components. Pairs perfectly with the OVERTAKE Driveshaft Lockdown Kit for a complete driveshaft upgrade.
