The GrimmSpeed Cast Aluminum Turbo Inlets have been a huge hit amongst VA WRX owners since their initial release a couple of years ago. Regardless of their popularity, we are constantly striving to innovate on products, and there have been a few small changes that we've wanted to make to our Inlets for a while now.

What's New For Version 2.0?
The main difference between our original cast turbo inlets and the new V2 is that there are no longer two different fitments for the 2015-16 and 2017-21 fitments. Now they are both covered in one kit with interchangeable threaded fittings to perfectly fit the PCV return line on either the earlier or later models. Aside from the functionality, we've also refined our casting methodology to achieve a more uniform surface finish that nears perfection!
Other than those updates, all other features are identical to the Version 1 including the flow performance, so if a customer already has one of our Turbo Inlets, there is no need to upgrade to the new version.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR 17-21 CANADIAN SPEC WRX MODELS-
Canadian spec WRX models from 2017-2021 came with a cast aluminum turbo inlet from factory. The factory inlet has built in coolant passages and this Grimmspeed inlet does not. While the Grimmspeed inlet would bolt up, there will be nowhere to attach the coolant lines. The inlet was designed to replace the brittle factory composite inlet so if your car already has the cast inlet from factory this upgrade is not required.
