GrimmSpeed Top Mount Intercooler Splitter - 2004-2005 WRX with GrimmSpeed / OEM STI TMIC

Direct hood scoop airflow across a larger top mount intercooler with this GrimmSpeed splitter. Redesigned internal vanes distribute cooling air over the core; GrimmSpeed reports a 70% increase in opening/flow capacity compared with the OEM WRX-size splitter.

Construction & Features

• CNC laser-cut, 20-gauge 5052 aluminum with DuPont black powder coating.
• CAD designed and evaluated using flow simulation.
• Flathead riveted construction avoids heat-stressed welded joints.
• Custom EPDM rubber sealing gasket and provision for up to three intercooler water sprayers.

Vehicle Compatibility

• 2004–2005 Subaru WRX equipped with a GrimmSpeed or OEM STI top mount intercooler.
• Not the 2004–2005 STI splitter (GRM093076); do not substitute between applications.

Installation

• Fit the supplied gasket around the splitter perimeter. Kits with a bulb-style gasket require trimming to length; relief cuts at the corners are optional.
