Building on the original V1 FR-Spec, the V2 features revised spring rates, updated damping characteristics, 30-way adjustable shocks, and redesigned components throughout the system.

The FR-Spec is ideally suited for purpose-built track cars, race cars, autocross builds, and performance-focused street vehicles. While designed primarily for performance driving, the adjustable damping range also allows drivers to tailor the suspension for spirited street driving and different road conditions.

V2 FR-Spec Track Design

The FR-Spec is specifically engineered for high-performance and track driving.

Increased spring rates are paired with higher shock damping coefficients to provide greater chassis control during aggressive cornering, braking, and acceleration. Solid aluminum pillowball front top hats help reduce suspension deflection under load while providing adjustable camber for more precise performance alignments.

Heavyweight shock oil and increased shock-body capacity help resist heat buildup and maintain more consistent damping during demanding driving conditions.

For 2002–2007 applications, the kit also includes rear camber plates for additional alignment adjustment and rear damping extenders for easier access to the rear damping controls.

30-Way Adjustable Damping

With 30 levels of damping adjustment, the V2 FR-Spec allows drivers to fine-tune suspension response based on road or track conditions, tire setup, alignment, and driving style.

Softer settings can provide additional compliance for street use, while firmer settings increase suspension response and chassis control for aggressive driving and track use.

FactionFab testing has shown up to a 0.12G increase in cornering performance on firm settings compared to soft settings in tested applications.
