Description

The Stage 1+ Drivetrain Package for your 2015+ Subaru WRX includes the Shift Plate, Shifter Bushing, and Shifter Stop, and the new weighted COBB Knob.

The COBB Shift Plate is designed to reduce overall shift throw while maintaining an OEM-like feel. Two adjustment points allow for either 15% or 35% reductions in shift throw. Weighing in at 825g, the COBB Shift Plate maintains a moment of inertia comparable to the stock part which provides effortless gear changes. The slim design allows for the factory-installed splash guard and heat shields to remain installed for an OEM-level of protection.

The COBB Shifter Bushing consists of an aluminum carrier that houses an IGUS polymer bearing. The aluminum carrier eliminates slop present when using the factory rubber isolator. Use of an IGUS polymer allows for low wear and friction which leads to a long life.

The COBB Shifter Stop is an injection molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon that allows for adjustment to achieve more precise shifting. With installation and adjustment taking mere minutes, the results are instant.

The Weighted COBB Knob is designed to keep those extended shifting sessions exhilarating. The billet stainless steel base/insert provides a weight similar to OEM knobs and is internally threaded to provide a tight fit onto the shifter which won't come loose in the most frenzied of gear changes. The delrin upper section ensures comfortable gear changes in the most extreme climates. Both Race Red and Black lower trim rings are included. This knob weighs in at 240g.
