OLM A1 AGGRESSIVE CARBON FIBER FULL REPLACEMENT HOOD SCOOP

HAND LAID DRY CARBON FIBER

This is a full hood scoop replacement. You will need to remove your OEM hood scoop which will require popping clips from underneath the hood and removing a few nuts on the front side of the scoop. Comes with 3M for a secure fit along the edges. Once installed, we recommend using a silicon sealant around the scoop. This will seal it well and no water will get under the scoop.

NOTE: Always clean the back of the hood scoop and the hood area with rubbing alcohol before starting the installation. We recommend re-installing the black plastic trim under the hood once you are done. This will help direct air to the intercooler.

Totally Awesome.!!!!
OLM Aggressive hood scoop completes the STI front of the car’s profile.The buying experience at Subie Supply was totally satisfying and a five Star.
It is awesome to have this high calibre Subaru parts store in Canada.
Note with this OLM part you have to seal properly with a silicone seal all around the scoop on the outside top of the hood and the bottom at the rear section on the inside of the hood to get the hood waterproof.
and use 3m double sided tape on the sides as it is a Carbon Fiber part. (Tried 3m only and weather stripping and I was not satisfied with fit and there was a leak).
This part is not at all like the OEM, the push clips holes attaching the OEM scoop on top 2 rows of the inside of the hood have to be water sealed otherwise it will leak there onto the under hood insulating cover.Those clips now just cover the holes and attach the Under hood PCV air stream cover with this Olm hood scoop after installation.
After you are done it is well worth it.
