This is the DBA 4000 Series Gravel Spec T-Slotted Rotor. This particular rotor features DBA's T3 Slot 48 precision CNC machined slots that are tri-symmetrical curve slots that help reduce vibration and improve braking performance for the street or the track. This rotor makes for an excellent upgrade when compared to the OEM rotor, and offers better stopping performance from the daily commute to work, or on the next weekend track day. Note that these are either sold individually for those of you who need a direct replacement, or they are sold as a pair for those of you who want to upgrade the front or rear axle.

Fitment Information:

2004-2007 Subaru STI - Dual drilled for 5x100 and 5x114.3

Note:

These rotors are designed for STI's with the 190mm handbrake to DOWNSIZE to the WRX 2-POT calipers in the rear. These make it easier to convert to the smaller rotor to fit 15in wheels for rally racing.

This is a single rotor for the rear location.

Features:

  • Tri-Symmetrical curve slots create a quieter, responsive and smoother brake feel
  • Kangaroo Paw – 144 diamond and tear drop pillar ventilation system increases the surface area which results in greater heat dissipation.
  • XG150 High Carbon Alloyed Iron minimizes warping/cracking and prolongs the service life of the rotor.
  • Thermographic Temperature Monitoring are heat paint markings that offer a clear indication of peak breaking temperatures.
  • Paint protection on non-friction areas reduces corrosion and stop any unsightly rust formation.
  • Warranty - 12 months or 12,000 mile from the date of purchase.

These features combined make the DBA 4000 series a great rotor for your street car, and for the weekend warrior who demands the most out of their car, on and off the track. DBA slotted rotors are a great alternative to drilled rotors. They have the same effect as hot brake gas dissipation, but they are more durable.
