The units bolt on exactly how our standard endplates bolt on with no change in hardware. The units are produced from 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon on machined aluminum molds for a consistent fit and finish. By venting the top side of the wing in a specific way and shaping the bottom portion of the endplate, we were able to reduce drag, increase downforce which resulted in an improvement of 1.2% L\/D on our rear wing element at 10 degrees AOA. To further enhance performance and aesthetics, we set out to develop endplates to push the envelope further.
