Repeated hard braking transfers heat from the pads into the calipers and brake fluid; these precision-cut titanium shims help limit that transfer, reducing the risk of brake fade and supporting consistent braking performance during demanding driving.

Features

High-strength 6AL-4V (Grade 5) titanium construction.

Significantly lower thermal conductivity than traditional steel shims.

Helps reduce heat transfer into brake calipers and brake fluid.

Designed to help minimize brake fade during aggressive driving.

Precision-cut for factory 2-piston Brembo rear brake calipers.

Specifications

Manufacturer part number: GRM.1248.1.TI

Material: 6AL-4V Grade 5 titanium

Thickness: 1.0 mm

Position: Rear

Caliper configuration: 2-piston Brembo

What's Included

Four titanium brake shims.

Vehicle Fitment

2018-2021 Subaru STI with factory 2-piston Brembo rear brakes.

Install between the brake pad backing plates and caliper pistons.
